Ferros may be applied over most common interior building materials including properly prepared and primed gypsum wallboard, cement board, plaster, concrete and masonry. Surface quality of the substrates before application should be equal to a level 4 drywall finish or better. Ferros can also be applied over properly prepared and primed exterior cement plaster, concrete, metal, masonry and EIFS base coat.
