EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) is a key component in most of Dryvit’s Outsulation® systems. It is an integral part of the system and provides the continuous insulation (CI) necessary to meet the demanding Energy Codes present in today’s construction world. EPS is available in various thicknesses, starting at 1” all the way up to 13” (see specifications for further information on thickness requirements). The R-value of 1” of EPS is 3.85.
