Backstop DMS is an air barrier and adhesive for continuous insulation and is applied in one step, saving labor on the job. It is a polymer-modified cementitious, sprayable dry mix. Over sheathing substrates, joints are treated with Backstop® NT-Texture and Grid Tape™ prior to Backstop DMS application.
Backstop DMS is specifically formulated for spray applications, but may also be trowel applied as well.
